BATTERY TESTING

What Equipment We Use

We own and use a Titan ULTRA battery tester.

Why Do I Need a Battery Test?

A battery test is to provide you with a true reading of your battery's life expectancy. We will be able to tell from this test whether you require new batteries or if your batteries are sufficient to continue using.

What Batteries Are Covered

We can test any battery as long as it is 12V from 7AH to 120AH - this includes mobility scooter batteries, car batteries and more as long as it fits the criteria. If you have any questions on whether yours may be included, please contact us.

Recommended Battery Life

We recommend if your battery is below 70%, you should consider replacing your batteries in the very near future. We recommend instant replacement on anything below 60% as this is showing signs of deterioration and you will not get the same range out of your mobility scooter.

Cost of a Battery Test

Battery testing is £20.00 per test (this will cover either one or a pair of batteries) if delivered to our work premises in Doddington. We can collect at an additional cost - please see FAQ page for our rates.

Battery Testing Outcome

We can print out your test results on paper to keep with your paperwork in case it is required at a later date for any reason.

If your mobility scooter batteries fail, and you purchase a new pair through ourselves, we will reduce the battery test price to half price.

Disposal

We will dispose of your old batteries free of charge to make things hassle-free for you.
